So I am starting to put some thought into registering for the Bean and was looking for a little feedback.  Where is the best place to register and when should I start?  It's a little different than the wedding registry because there are just so many things and who knows at the end of the day what the baby will enjoy.

I would love to hear from new moms - what can't your baby live without?  Is there something that you registered for that is still sitting in a box or collecting dust in the corner?  In the past year every baby I have seen has been holding onto or had Sophie the Giraffe hanging out of their mouth.  Such a simple little thing that babies love.  Any feedback, links to websites, pictures would be appreciated and maybe I will be able to put together a top 10 list.
