The Ultimate Staycation with Hilton and Attractions Ontario

Last weekend we were invited to stay at the Hilton Garden Inn in Ottawa to check out their summer Kids Eat Stay Play package and we had the most wonderful time.

Shaun and I went to Ottawa a bunch (pre kids) so we were very excited to be going back with the kids this time.  We weren’t sure that the weather was going to work in our favour but with the Eat Stay Play package we weren’t worried about a little rain ruining our stay!

As part of the package you receive a $5 credit for snacks from the pantry and an in room movie.  This came in super handy when we wanted to venture out to check out the Ottawa Haunted Walk but the rain was coming down in sheets.  Although disappointed for a bit, the chance to eat snack in bed and watch a movie was pretty darn awesome for the kids.

Also part of the Eat Stay Play package you get a 25% off discount on tickets at FunHaven.  Now this is a place that I can totally get behind.  The kids had a blast and they had comfy chairs all around for the parents to sit, relax and drink coffee.

Just days after we returned Shane and Aria notified me that when they grow up they are going to be moving to Ottawa.  When I asked why they said that it was because the Hilton had the best breakfast they had ever had. (apparently they will be moving straight into the hotel)  See them above living their absolute best lives.  I mean, hot chocolate with whip cream and fruit loops for breakfast – how could it get any better?

The kids weren’t the only ones that were totally impressed with the food.  Every single meal was delicious.  The breakfast buffet had something for everyone – and we didn’t regret trying the specials at dinner.

Just when you thought there was nothing else to get up to we hit the pool!

If you are looking for the perfect staycation this summer in Ontario and Quebec we highly recommend checking out the Eat Stay Play package at the Hilton! We want to thank the staff at the Garden Inn Hilton for taking such good care of us – it was difficult to come home.

If you want to check out the behind the scenes of our stay check out the Attractions Ontario story saved to my Instagram.
