YMCA Camps to the Rescue

We are going into the third full week of summer and your plans for “camp mom” are not going as well as you thought they would.  Your kids keep telling you they are bored, aren’t so interested in your plans and want to hang out with other kids. If you hear, “what are we gonna do now” one more time you may lose your mind and the amount of snacks they are eating makes you miss the days of packing lunches.

Be not afraid mom, it’s not too late.  There are YMCA camps across the GTA that may be able to take some of the pressure off you this summer.  If you have kids between the ages of 4-16 they have super fun camps that can keep them busy, having fun, being active and super thrilled with you!

Just some examples of the types of day camps are:

  • Kinder Camp (4-5 year olds)
  • Multi Sports
  • Wacky Sports
  • Visual Arts
  • Eco Camp
  • And more!

We have been members of our local YMCA for about a year and it is honestly our favourite place to be as a family, because there really is something for everyone.  It was a no brainer that they spend some time in YMCA day camps this summer.  Aria will be hanging out at the kinder camp.  I love that they have a special camp for the kindergarten aged children!  Shane will be doing wacky sports and he is super excited.

I encourage you to check out the YMCA of Greater Toronto camp site to check it out.  It is super user friendly and has so many options that any family would be able to find the perfect match for their child.  Need before and after care?  No problem there are options for you!  Does your child need some extra assistance?  No problem, there are options for you!  Have a little fish in your life?  No problem, pop them into swimming camp!

Grab your kids, sit down with the YMCA of Greater Toronto camp site, check out their availability and take a bit of pressure off yourself this summer.  Trust me when I say that it will be totally worth it for everyone involved.

Trust me when I tell you that packing lunches is so much better than the constant snack monster calling for you 🙂

Disclosure – this post is sponsored by YMCA – our love of the YMCA is so so real!!
