My Introduction to Crafting with Cricut
I consider myself pretty crafty! If you were to head into my office you would find bins of paint, glue, construction paper, and goggly eyes. If a crafty project arises I usually have what we need to make it. I have been eyeing the Cricut machines for a while so to say that I was excited to start a partnership with Cricut would be a HUGE understatement. Before my on-boarding package even arrived Shaun and I were daydreaming projects that we were going to do.
If I am being totally honest after I unboxed my Cricut Maker 2 and Easy Press I was a little nervous to get started. We have all seen beautiful crafts that people have made, and I had no clue where to get started. There are so many options, and I had so many ideas.
The best (and most comforting) thing about the Cricut is they send their machines with a craft to get you started. After set up I made this beautiful paper card and it was so incredibly easy! In under 30 minutes I was able to set up my machine and create this card that used 3 different papers and the handwriting tool!
The Easy Press was just as simple! I ironed on my first piece and am now able to carry my easy press in style any time I want!
If you know me at all you know that my first project had to incorporate a unicorn somehow! I was excited to use some beautiful sparkly silver vinyl to give my water bottle new life!
