Clifford the Big Red Dog is Coming to the Big Screen
Growing up I loved reading Clifford the Big Red Dog books. My name (Amy Elizabeth) is so close to Emily Elizabeth’s and I thought that it would be so magical if I could have a magical red dog too!
If you know Aria, you know that she is a MASSIVE dog lover. She could tell you random facts about just about any dog, except only to say that Clifford is magic. To say that she was excited that there was a Clifford the Big Red Dog movie coming to theatres on November 10th would be an understatement. She is THRILLED!
As middle schooler Emily Elizabeth (Darby Camp) struggles to fit in at home and at school, she discovers a small red puppy who is destined to become her best friend from a magical animal rescuer. When Clifford becomes a gigantic red dog in her New York City apartment and attracts the attention of a genetics company who wish to supersize animals, Emily and her clueless Uncle Casey (Jack Whitehall) have to fight the forces of greed as they go on the run across New York City and take a bite out of the Big Apple. Along the way, Clifford affects the lives of everyone around him and teaches Emily and her uncle the true meaning of acceptance and unconditional love. Based on the beloved Scholastic character, Clifford will teach the world how to love big.
The cast looks super fun and high in comedic talent! Starring Jack Whitehall, Darby Camp, Tony Hale, Sienna Guillory, David Alan Grier, Russell Wong, and John Cleese. It is based on the Scholastic books that we all know and love and is directed by Walt Becker . You can check out www.cliffordmovie.ca for more information.
