Driving into the Holiday Spirit with Canadian Tire

Covid-19 has changed the way that we do things, but that doesn’t mean that we don’t want to get out with our families to get into the holiday spirit.  This is the second year that Canadian Tire has put on the Christmas Trail at Pioneer Village and it is just the most beautiful experience!

I took a bunch of photos and video to don’t want to spoil it but will say a couple of things.

All of the elves are nothing short of AMAZING.  They have names, huge personalities and stories to share.

Mrs. Clause was my favourite of the 25 minute trail.  She had a beautiful station, read a portion of a story to us and had conversations with the kids.  Aria’s eyes were the size of saucers just out of pure excitement.

All throughout the train are themed installations and SO MANY LIGHTS!  I can not even imagine the amount of time that it takes to set this up.

When we got home Shaun and I were chatting about traditions.  In my family we have some pretty long standing traditions of things that we have been doing for decades.  We really hope that the CT Christmas Trail will come back year after year because it really is so special!

Last but of course not least the Man In Red!  Santa and the kids had a great conversation and lots of giggles, and we were able to get this awesome picture.

Tickets go on sale on Mondays at 10:30am EST starting on November 8th.  You can buy tickets HERE

The cost is $25 per car with proceeds going to Jumpstart.  If you are in the GTA we highly recommend – it was just a beautiful evening.  Big thanks to Canadian Tire for having us to check it out.
