Tilley’s – More Than Just Hats!
Last week I was invited to the Tilley Endurables holiday event by Urban Moms. I was thrilled for the opportunity to check out clothes and have some me time! To be completly honest when ever I have heard of Tilley's all I think of is the Tilley hat – but let me tell you friends, they are much more than just hats.
When I arrived I decided to stroll around the store and check things out.
I am a huge fan of Lug bags and they had them in every colour and lots of different sizes. Something to cover all of your travel needs.
Tilley is proudly made in Canada and has been designing and manufacturing their clothes and hats right here for 30 years. When they say that their clothes are wash and wear they really mean it. You can wash your Tilley clothes in your hotel sink – hang it to dry and wear it the next day! (Yes of course you can also wash them in a washing machine) They also had lots of beautiful scarves and accesories to help change up your wardrobe when travelling. Making it easy to give that little black dress a new look.
I totally feel in love with this sweater – it also came in black and the fabric felt amazing.
Not only did they have fantastic versatile clothes they had tons of travel accesories.
For all you iPhone users I thought these gloves would be the perfect gift. I had heard of them before but never seen them. Gloves made for touch screens! Totally genius. I can tweet and not have cold fingers! š
And of course the Tilley Hat! Did I mention that the Tilley Hat is guaranteed for life!!!
We were also fortunate enough to hear from Heather Greenwood Davis. She traveled around the world (29 countries to be exact) in 1 year with her husband and 2 kids – oh and with only 1 bag. Totally an amazing story and she credits some awesome Tilley pieces to her success. You should definitely check her out HERE.
During the holidays Tilleys sells these super adorable Yeti's seen below. The baby is $7 and the Mom or Dad Yeti are $14. The Yeti holiday program is in support of the Sir Edmund Hilary Foundation dedicated to help improve the lives of the Sherpa people of Nepal.
Overall I was impressed with all things Tilley. They are much more fashion forward than I would have thought and will definitely be checking out their store again. For more info on Tilley's click HERE.
