Lysol – Decorate Your Soap Dispenser CONTEST
I am really excited to be able to share this super fun contest with all of my readers. If you have kids you know that you are constantly washing their hands, or making sure that they washed their own. Well I have a 13 month old and I swear that his little hand prints are everywhere. I am often too late to catch him before he is finger painting on our mirrors with smushed avacado. He loves to smush bananas, crunch crackers and his newest thing is trying to put his hands in the toilet. (I'm lucky, I know!)
So it's pretty easy to get involved:
1. Decorate your own Lysol No Touch Soap Dispenser
2. Share photo's with your friends on Facebook, Twitter and Email.
3. Vote on your Favourites (1 vote per day)
So it was time to get to work. I was glad that I waited until my hubby was home from work because things were about to get messy. Since my babe is so young and not really one to sit still for long I thought that the best thing to do was get some paint and put some of his little hand prints on the dispenser. Not only would it be cute but also a reminder of how small he was. We went over to Dollarama and got some paint and sparkles at a great price. The newspaper went down, the babe was stripped down to his diaper and he was ready to go!
The dispenser is a pretty good size so I figured that we would be able to get a couple of good hand prints on it but of course the babe had different plans.
So as soon as the paint went down the hands dove in, and then of course onto his face and legs and feet. I'm glad he was already in his diaper because we just walked him right into the tub to wash it off. Glad I was smart enough to get a water based paint as it came right off. We had lots of fun, it did not come out looking anything like I wanted to but it totally reflects who he is right now!
Next time I think we will work with felt 🙂
So here is our finished product! Not one clear hand print – lol. But more super fun and hilarious memories made.
