Valentines Day Treats with Green & Black’s Organic Chocolate

What's a Valentines Day without without chocolate right?  So when a few Green & Black's Organic Dark Chocolate bars arrived on my door step I wanted to find out a way to share them with some great ladies in my life.

Of course Shaun and I had to share a bar together and he mentioned how good the chocolate was and that a coffee would be nice to have with it.  This totally sparked my imagination and I decided to make chocolate spoons to use in coffee, tea or hot chocolate.

It was super duper easy. I got some decorative bags and some red wire, spoons, red sprinkles and of course the chocolate 🙂

I broke the bars up and put them into a post and melted on low heat.   This didn't take very long at all and melted nice and smooth.

Once melted I dipped each spoon in the chocolate leaving the actual spoon full of chocolate.  I placed them on wax paper and then placed in the fridge to harden.  After being in the fridge for about 10 minutes I added the red sprinkles so they would stick but not sink.

After a couple of hours I wrapped them in the little bags and they are good to give away.  All of the moms in my Mom and Tot group will be getting a sweet treat this week.
