You put oil on your face, on purpose?

If you are a regular reader of the blog you know that I love Weleda products, not just for my kids but for me also.  Since becoming a mom I am much more aware of the products that we use in our home but also on our bodies.

To be honest I have not always been blessed with the greatest skin.  I often have breakouts and for a women in her ‘30s I am pretty much over it!  A few months ago I started to use the Weleda face wash and toner and I have noticed a huge change in my skin.  For once after washing my face it did not feel dried out and tight.  I love that they are not perfumey and even more that there are no hidden ingredients.

When I was asked if I wanted to try out the Almond Soothing Facial Oil I was almost a little embarrassed to ask what I would use it for.  The thought of adding oil to my skin scared me a little because I thought that it would start breakouts.  But it also got me thinking.  I have been using these amazing cleansing products but then putting on a very unnatural moisturizer after, it really defeated the purpose.

So I gave it a try.  Right on the box it says that it is dermatologically approved for use on sensitive skin.  The texture is obviously different than a creamy moisturizer so it was a little different but I am in love with the results.  My face is so soft, not breaking out and not oily at all.  I have thrown out my old moisturizer and this has taken its place in my skin care regime.
