Top 5 Things to do in Niagara Falls for a Bachelorette Party
Getting married or planing a bachelorette for one of your best girlfriends but want to stay in Canada. If you are in Southern Ontario I would definitely recommend going to Niagara Falls. When I say there is something for everyone there really is!
1 – Grape Escape Wine Tours – Tutu's are optional 😉
We had such a blast on our wine tour. Our guides were a total hoot. From start to finish we had a total blast.
We were picked up at our hotel which was super convenient. Really nice to know that we did not have to worry about getting ourselves to the first stop. If you want you are able to use a helmet and each bike was equipped with a small bag and rain poncho. It did rain a little on the day we went out so it definitely came in handy!
I totally loved that each of the wineries we went to was unique in it's own way. From family owned and run to organic to fancy we did and saw it all.
If people decide to buy anything at a winery the make sure it makes it back to the start/finish point so you don't have to worry about carrying it with you.
Overall it was a blast. No doubt we were a sight to see with the tutu's on our bikes and the staff was just awesome. They knew so much about the Niagara region that we enjoyed great wine and cheese but also learned the history of the area which was a total bonus! I will definitely be doing it again and it was really the perfect way to start off our weekend.
2 – Clifton Hill – just isn't for kids ya know?
After our wine tour we headed to the Kelsey's at the top of Clifton Hill. Their cocktail menu was super impressive, the food was fantastic and of course who doesn't want to hang with a bunch of gals in tutu's?
From dinner we did the SkyWheel which was super cool. Beautiful to see the lights on the falls at night. From there we hit the midway and played like kids for about an hour. The Wild West Coaster was a total hoot. I have never been on a coaster that you are in one spot and it felt so real! We shot at ghosts in the dark and played arcade games for prizes. Before this weekend I did not know all that was located right on Clifton Hill. For families this is super continent having everything all in one place. If we would have had more time we would have hit the bowling or mini-putt next.
3 – Fallsview Casino – talk about a gorgeous casino! We definitely caught peoples attention walking around in tutu's.
We are not huge gamblers but wanted to give a couple games a try. All of the dealers were super helpful and we didn't feel silly asking questions. We had a couple cocktails at the bar and decided that we were ready to hit a dance floor.
Lucky for us the nightclub is attached to the casino so we did not have very far to travel. The doorman was lovely to us and let a few of us in without paying cover. The club is huge, there were lots of bachelor and bachelorette parties in attendance. Everyone was there to have a good time and just dance which was great. If you are wanting to head out and dance in Niagara I would say that Dragonfly is definitely the place to go! If you are heading with a party I would say contact the club and get bottle service, definitely the way to go.
If your feet and wallet can handle it I say head to the new Outlets in Niagara. There are so many great stores and food options it is the perfect way to wrap up your weekend!
Overall we had a fantastic time, and we proved that you don't need to cross the border to have an incredible bachelorette party!
