The Broken Leg

If you are a regular reader here or follow us on social media by now you know that I have broken my leg. It is my left ankle to be exact. Just over a week ago I had a total freak fall while playing indoor soccer and since then I have been in a cast, on the couch or in bed. To be totally honest this is tough. I am not a sitter……..AT ALL!

It really doesn't’t help having two very active toddlers that just don’t quite understand that daddy can’t play for a while. Doctor's latest update is that I'm in a 50/50 chance of surgery position. As long as nothing shifts we should be ok, but it is definitely a long road to recovery. So we are being positive, and I am taking it easy. Thank goodness for Xbox, Netflix and Maury!

I would love to hear book recommendations or your favourite movies on Netflix.

I can think of one million and one other things I would do but what should I be doing to keep my brain active while I sit with my foot elevated?

    Highly recommend Master of None and Narcos on Netflix! Or you could watch Star Wars start to finish before the premiere!

    Sooner than later for sure. Right now the doctors advised I keep off the foot so the bone continues to heal properly. My next appointment I’m hoping for good news which will mean the cast comes off.

    Narcos on Netflix is a must see!! Already binged the first season. #Netflixandchill kinda weekends helped ;). We just started Master of None and it hasn’t hooked me, yet.
