Upcycling for the WIN!

There is nothing I love more than a good upcycle.  About a month ago my mom called to let me know that she was doing some downsizing.  She was asking if I wanted the chest you see below, when I was a child it was in my bedroom.  I knew that I wanted it, just wasn’t sure what I was going to do with it.I knew that I wanted it to be black, but other than that I just wasn’t sure.  It sat in my dining room for a couple of weeks, as you can see we are also re-doing our floors.  Shaun needed the space back so I headed over to Canadian Tire, picked up some paint and got to work.The good folks at Pixers contacted me around the same time to see if I wanted to review their products.  It could not have been at a more perfect time.I measured the top of my now black chest and found this super fun image and voila!You can find out more about Pixers HERE and upcycle something in your house in a new way!
